- Welby Audry
- Mark Kuiper
- Sjors Jansma
- Frans Liemburg
- Robin Bos

OpenIdea: Live mobile video on the net

live webcamming

Web2.0 is about sharing everything with everyone. So why isn’t it easy yet to use your cellular (.. or mobile phone) as a portable webcam which broadcasts video using your cellulars-buildin-camera function? This would make it unnecessary to text-blog with your phone when your at a live festival. Live action videos will make your friends and family stay home, while you have to cam for them. Anyone reading this blog, who knows why this isn’t possible yet? People who are willing to make this kind of service/ application will be a millionaire in no-time!

OpenIdea: Firefox “Save Audio”-Add-on

Taperecorder

Wouldn’t it be great if you could save just any audio fragment directly from your browser?
It’s isn’t necessarily that this idea has to be an Firefox add-on. If this can be constructed web-based-wise, it’s even better! People should be able to save the audio-file on their harddisk/through email/Pownce afterwards. This way mankind is able to save sound ,from the web, which they want to use for other things, like ring-tones/ sound effects for flash/ etc.
Using Pownce (I still have a few invitations left!), you could send your friends a sound-effect/fragment.
And to make things even better, an online sound-editting environment would be great! (something similar to online video-editting apps (link)

I still have some invitations left, thanks to FranticIndustries!

Also works with other programs, like 3dsmax and such, but I am/ we are not into 3D (yet;)).

Google Maps Street view

Google Maps Streetview

Making my world 3d again, giving it perspective.
Really nice, I’m gonna hijack that SUV which is parked in front of that building!

And this is EveryScape (google-street-view-alike):
EveryScape is the only place you can discover your everyday world, your way. Today, you can check out Union Square, San Francisco as the first city to be scaped. You can check out restaurants, hotels, go shopping, drive by homes. You can see what other people are saying and share your comments as you stroll down the street.

Something similar is available to the Dutch: Go to Funda.nl, find a house for sale in your neighbourhood and go to the “Buurt”-tab. Left to the map there’s a 360degree panoramaview-possibility to look around on that specific location.
